Connect your fitness tracker with Apple Health

Modified on Wed, 20 Nov at 4:53 PM

To make sure your health data from your fitness tracker is up to date, follow these steps:

Check connection with Apple Health:
Open the Apple Health app and check whether the data from your fitness tracker is updated there. If not, check the connection between your tracker and the manufacturer app and between the manufacturer app and Apple Health. If necessary, set up the connection again.

Prioritise Apple Health as a data source for Youbi:
If your fitness tracker is connected to Apple Health, your iPhone may be set as the preferred data source. To ensure that the data from your tracker is prioritised, follow the instructions on the Apple website under ‘Prioritise data sources’.

Enable permissions for Youbi in Apple Health:
In order for Youbi to retrieve your health data, appropriate permissions are required. Open the Health app, go to ‘Sharing’, select ‘Apps’ and then ‘Youbi’. Make sure that all options are activated.

Patience when updating data:
The data in the Youbi app is updated with every Apple Health update, but not in real time. However, everything will be synchronised throughout the day.
